FALL ENROLLMENT
Fall Enrollment is open to:
Summer quarter students - first week of august
Returning students - 2nd week of august
New students - 3rd week of august
An email with info on how to enroll will be sent out on the above weeks to the applicable students.

HABITS CLASS MAKEUPS AND ABSENCES
Absences and Makeup possibilities are now posted on our calendar online. Spots available are marked ‘(Student Name) Out’. Any ‘Out’ spots that do not have a corresponding ‘(Student Name) In’ are available for makeups. Please email Missi at info@peerymusic.com to let her know if and when you will be absent and what available spot you would like to take for a makeup.

PRACTICE PARTNER TIP
Think of ways to make practicing more fun by changing the format a bit, or turning it into a game. This week I cut up each row of Christien’s chart into strips and put them in a ziplock bag. He randomly pulled the strips out of the bag and did whichever assignment he had pulled out. When all the strips were out of the bag he was finished. He had fun with the change and liked seeing the strips slowly leave the bag. If you have ways you have made your practice time more fun please let me know so I can share them with others!

The PEERY PIANO DUO (Christie Peery Skousen and Irene Peery-Fox) will be performing at the International Piano Duo Festival opening International Concert presented in collaboration with Kurosawa Piano Music Foundation

When: Wednesday, July 2, 2008
Where: Le Petit Trianon, 72 North Fifth Street in San Jose

The inaugural festival in Silicon Valley will present an international concert on Wednesday, July 2, 7 pm at Le Petit Trianon in San Jose featuring The Kugimoto Piano Duo (Japan), The Riga Piano Duo (Latvia and Armenia), Duo Pianistico di Firenze, (Italy), The Peery Piano Duo, (USA) and a Japanese duo living in the Bay Area, Yumi Tayama & Hiroko Mizuno Duo. The program will feature works from each teams’ native country.
